EPL: Arsenal 2 – 2 Manchester United (Full Time)

Well, first of all a nice goal from Fabregas with the help of Eboue, Adebayor and Sagna. Arsenal returned to the fired up mode in the start of the second half, they played well, but to be honest Almunia was not so confident but he did save us from some nice shots but still shakey performance.

The  second  Manchester United  goal scored by Ronaldo was a result of a really nice Saha pass to Evra and a really bad defending job by Arsenal’s defence line. In the end gallas saved us in an amazing crazy goal.

I expected a 2-1 victory for Arsenal and they could’ve got that result, am not happy withh all arsene wenger’s substitutes I mean if they work with other teams that doesn’t mean it should always work.

Here are the goals:
Rooney Goal
Fabregas Goal
Ronaldo Goal
Gallas Goal

Do you believe that if Robin van Persie was playing that the result could’ve been better?

EPL: Arsenal 0 – 1 Manchester United (Half Time)

Ok, so we all saw that Arsenal was denied a penalty, thats not my problem my problem is that we started all fired up but eventually we just couldn’t keep the ball with us, and couldn’t handle is well enough to keep building up attacks and scoring a goal. Although we saw Gallas had a nice try and some shot here and there. Ofcourse Manchester played well but the goal is clearly a lucky goal its not because Rooney was clever or in control.

Nobody wants to see the goal again ofcourse but, here is the goal anyway, CLICK HERE.

EPL: Arsenal Vs. Manchester United

Arsenal will be playing their 11th match in the league, being top of the table with 26 points, while Manchester United will be playing their 12th match second in the table with 26 points. Well, this is the awaited match since the start of the season, everybody says this is the real deal, this is the true test that will show how fragile those teams are, yes its a test for both teams because to be honest they are the only two teams that has a chance in winning the league, those not only my words its fergie’s too. Well although i don’t really care what he usually says but this time he is right, only in this point, it true those teams are the only ones who can actually do it.

Statistically speaking, Premier League’s best attack (Arsenal: 22 goals scored) is playing against the best defence (Man Utd: 4 goals conceded), Arsenal averages 2.20 goals per game while Man Utd avergaes 1.73 goals.

We shouldn’t forget also that last season Arsenal won both games against Manchester United in the league. There are no new injuries reported for both teams, evra is fit and expected to feature in the match.

Arsenal’s Squad: Almunia, Lehmann, Sagna, Toure, Gallas, Clichy, Hleb, Fabregas, Flamini, Diaby, Adebayor, Eduardo, Eboue, Walcott, Gilberto, Rosicky, Bendtner, Denilson.

Manchester United Squad: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Brown, Simpson, Ferdinand, Vidic, Pique, Evra, O’Shea, Ronaldo, Fletcher, Hargreaves, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Tevez, Rooney, Saha.

I expect a scoreline of 2-1 for Arsenal, a draw is still possible but still believe Arsenal will be victorious.

EPL: Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal

This wasn’t an easy match, not only for the players but for the fans too, i think i was on the verge of having a mixture of heart attacks and strokes all at the same time. I was on edge and just waiting for a freakin goal, we lost  lots of shots bouncing back off the sticks. Arsene Wenger seemed nervous from the start, after watching Arsenal matches for years now i have this sixth sense when i just look to his face i know if he is worried or really worried or he is realllllllllly worried. Oh he is never at ease he is always worried but there are stages. Anyway after thrashing Prague the other day 7-0 everybody was waiting for the massacre that was going to happen today, everybody wondering will it be 2-0 or 4-0 for Arsenal. Ofcourse some of the fans knew this wasn’t gonna be easy specially after Liverpool ended being the bottom of their group in the champions league. They wanted a win to regain confidence, but really Arsene Wenger’s substitutes where weird and amazing.

More to come later…

Tottenham Spurs SACKS Martin Jol, who didnt see this coming ?!!

They splashed him with cash and gave him full control, but he simply wasn’t able to reach to the level they were expecting. Do you blame them ?!

They are 18th on the EPL table, they just lost 1-2 to Getafe in the UEFA CUP, everybody expected this, we only didn’t know when.

By the way the decision to sack him was taken before getafe’s match but they waited until after the match, anyway they are hoping to get Juande Ramos Sevilla’s manager and the ex-spurs midfielder Gus Poyet as Assistant Manager who is currently Leeds Assistant Manager. But they might have to wait til the end of the season, for Sunday’s game they are giving the task to their Reserves Coach Clive Allen.

Where do you think Martin Jol would go ??

Robin van Persie said it best. “You cannot link footballing quality with age”

I moved to www.ibrahimo.com, to read this post in the new blog please CLICK HERE.

I am happy with what he said and he is 100% right, no doubt, but I wish we show it on the pitch in the next 2 matches, liverpool is bleeding and they are looking for a win, especially after their last performance in the champions league, they are in the bottom of the table there, so they will do anything to WIN.

Anyway here is what Robin van Persie said yesterday to the Daily Mail Sports section: “You cannot link footballing quality with age. A lot of teams were afraid of the big signings that Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United made but that doesn’t interest me one bit – how much these guys earn in a week is totally uninteresting.”

“Our players don’t drive in the most luxurious cars but, when it comes to our football, we’re technically tremendously good.”

“Most analysis bases quality on status but we have a good young team without status or years of experience.”

EPL: Arsenal Vs. Bolton (Quick Preview)

Well the match will be after around an hour and fifteen minutes that 2:00PM GMT, Bolton will be the guests in the Emirates Stadium today, and this is the expected formation:

Almunia, Clichy, Toure, Gallas, Sagna, Eboue, Fabregas, Rosicky, Hleb, Eduardo, Adebayor, Flamini, Walcott, Bendtender, Denilson, Song, Diaby, Fabianski.

Although Van Persie is out for a month, some new news says it might be even more serious. Although people still say that Eduardo will be a good cover i still don’t think so.

I guess the only problem that Arsenal might face from Bolton is their goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, he has been a great goalkeeper especially in matches against arsenal. I believe this is one of the most important matches for arsenal this season, you might say Bolton is even manager-less and they are having problems and they havent been doing that great and anelka might not play because of a thigh injury but, lets see this, in the last few seasons bolton was always playing greatly in matches against arsenal especially while allardyce was their manager.

Anyway i still expect Arsenal to win at least 2-0 or maybe 3-1.

Good Luck to Arsenal.
