CL: Olympiakos Vs. Real Madrid (Preview)
Real Madrid will be playing their 4th match in the Champions League Group C, nicely standing top of the table with 7 points, while Olympiakos is playing at home and is 2nd place with 4 points.
As we can recollect, Robinho played a very important role in the last match which ended 4-2 for Real Madrid, the match was sensational really made us all be on edge. Real Madrid players showed their real spirit in that match and showed how much they want to win this season.
One weird observation is that Real Madrid lost a match before meeting Olympiakos, in the first match they lost 2-1 to Espanyol and now they just got a 2-0 loss against Sevilla. But i still expect Real Madrid to focus in this match and just put whatever past wins and losses aside.
Wingers Arjen Robben and Gonzalo Higuaín and the backup goal keeper Jerzy Dudek are still injured but the central defender Pepe and midfielder Wesley Sneijder are back and going to be traveling with their team mates but not sure if any of them would be able to play full 90 minutes.
Olympiakos will be missing injured defender Paraskevas Antzas and Vassilis Torossidis who was sent off in the previous match. Michal Zewlakow is back from injury and might feature in the match, although i seriously doubt he could play a full match.
My eyes will be locked on 3 main players today, ofcourse Robinho especially after his great show against Olympiakos although he wasn’t able to do much against Sevilla in the Spanish league but still its going to be different here. Another Real Madrid player to watch would be Wesley Sneijder that is if he played any part in the game. From Olympiakos the amazing midfielder Predrag Djordjevic who is 35 years old and plays as if he is 25 amazing speed and dribbling.
Real Madrid expected formation (4-1-3-2): Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Metzelder, Cannavaro, Marcelo, Heinze, Diarra, Sneijder, Guti, Robinho – Raúl, van Nistelrooy
Olympiakos expected formation (4-5-1): Nikopolidis, Patsatzoglou, Julio Cesar, Zewlakow, Bravo, Archubi, Ledesma, Djordjevic, Stoltidis, Galleti, LuaLua
I expect a win for Real Madrid, maybe 2-1, in the worst situations i would expect a draw 1-1 or 2-2. But i believe we will win tonight.
Italian League: Juventus 1 – 1 Inter Milan
As usual Mancini just cant hold a score to the end of the match, this is just him, this isn’t the first time and wont be the last, Inter Milan played well during most of the match but Juventus was a powerful rival, they caused Inter Milan some trouble from time to time, and to be honest they deserved a draw, but that’s because our man here is so eager to keep the score 1-0 he just quickly go to defend where he gives the opposition the chance to slip through the lines and score. Se what he said after the match “We should have been more clinical, with a Juve that will never give up. It will serve as a lesson.” Believe me Mancini this isn’t your first lesson, this is so typical of you and your tactics, please try to learn for once in your life.
Anyway Inter Milan is still top of the table but you know even if we won the league a match between Juve and Inter just has a different taste. Its as if you are playing in a separate cup of something.
Here are the highlights:
EPL: Arsenal 2 – 2 Manchester United (Full Time)
Well, first of all a nice goal from Fabregas with the help of Eboue, Adebayor and Sagna. Arsenal returned to the fired up mode in the start of the second half, they played well, but to be honest Almunia was not so confident but he did save us from some nice shots but still shakey performance.
The second Manchester United goal scored by Ronaldo was a result of a really nice Saha pass to Evra and a really bad defending job by Arsenal’s defence line. In the end gallas saved us in an amazing crazy goal.
I expected a 2-1 victory for Arsenal and they could’ve got that result, am not happy withh all arsene wenger’s substitutes I mean if they work with other teams that doesn’t mean it should always work.
Here are the goals:
Rooney Goal
Fabregas Goal
Ronaldo Goal
Gallas Goal
Do you believe that if Robin van Persie was playing that the result could’ve been better?
EPL: Arsenal 0 – 1 Manchester United (Half Time)
Ok, so we all saw that Arsenal was denied a penalty, thats not my problem my problem is that we started all fired up but eventually we just couldn’t keep the ball with us, and couldn’t handle is well enough to keep building up attacks and scoring a goal. Although we saw Gallas had a nice try and some shot here and there. Ofcourse Manchester played well but the goal is clearly a lucky goal its not because Rooney was clever or in control.
Nobody wants to see the goal again ofcourse but, here is the goal anyway, CLICK HERE.

Arsenal will be playing their 11th match in the league, being top of the table with 26 points, while Manchester United will be playing their 12th match second in the table with 26 points. Well, this is the awaited match since the start of the season, everybody says this is the real deal, this is the true test that will show how fragile those teams are, yes its a test for both teams because to be honest they are the only two teams that has a chance in winning the league, those not only my words its fergie’s too. Well although i don’t really care what he usually says but this time he is right, only in this point, it true those teams are the only ones who can actually do it.
Statistically speaking, Premier League’s best attack (Arsenal: 22 goals scored) is playing against the best defence (Man Utd: 4 goals conceded), Arsenal averages 2.20 goals per game while Man Utd avergaes 1.73 goals.
We shouldn’t forget also that last season Arsenal won both games against Manchester United in the league. There are no new injuries reported for both teams, evra is fit and expected to feature in the match.
Arsenal’s Squad: Almunia, Lehmann, Sagna, Toure, Gallas, Clichy, Hleb, Fabregas, Flamini, Diaby, Adebayor, Eduardo, Eboue, Walcott, Gilberto, Rosicky, Bendtner, Denilson.
Manchester United Squad: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Brown, Simpson, Ferdinand, Vidic, Pique, Evra, O’Shea, Ronaldo, Fletcher, Hargreaves, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Tevez, Rooney, Saha.
I expect a scoreline of 2-1 for Arsenal, a draw is still possible but still believe Arsenal will be victorious.

Euro 2008 will take place in Austria and Switzerland from the 7th to the 29th June 2008.
The Channel also announced that “Aljazeera Sport +3” will start on January 2008 which will be mostly used for Clubs Channels such as Chelsea TV and Manchester City TV and so on.
